International Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work

The International Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work provides learners with the knowledge, understanding, and practical abilities required to deliver effective workplace first aid and safely operate an AED. The program covers assessment of emergency situations, casualty management, CPR, choking, bleeding, shock, fractures, dislocations, sprains, head and spinal injuries, chest injuries, burns, eye injuries, poisoning, anaphylaxis, and major medical conditions.
Participants also learn how to conduct scene and primary surveys, assess consciousness and breathing, place an unresponsive casualty in the recovery position, manage seizures, control external bleeding, minimize infection risks, and provide appropriate first aid until further medical assistance is available. The course also develops practical skills for combining CPR with safe AED use.
